Jayk and Jade wandered blindly through the tall wheat grass in the opposite direction to the torch light, easily out of range of the little beam of light.
Just when he thought they where in the clear, a gruff male voice rang out like a gunshot.
"HEY YOU PUNNKS!!!!" barked Darrel. Jayk couldn't help but freeze, his limbs turning to stone and his heart falling dead in his chest as he spun around. He half expected to see the round old man barrelling across the tow yard towards them, gun in hand with his torch pinned on them tight but instead, he heard Seipher and his band of thugs yelling and hooting at the old towie as he let off bang after b
Jayk checked his watch, keeping his eye out for a bobbing head of red hair as students raced out of the school in a dead hurry.
the crowed slowly began to thin, and still he hadnt seen her. infact he hadnt seen Jade since the little fiasco earlier, the last thing he had seen with her annoyed face as the principles door was slammed in his face.

Jayk frowned. "Hey now, it wasnt the neighbours dog, it was from the impound lot, and i wasnt scared then either, even if i was screaming my lungs out."
there was a moment silence before jade was reduced to fits of laughter, holding her splitting sides and tears rolling down her cheeks.
Jayk smiled, looking away from her.
"Your so cute when you laugh you know." he said,
Jordan caught up to her, keeping stride and smiling at the girl who was a head shorter then him. a red, head shorter then him to be exact.
"How did you know it was me?" he asked as the pair continued to walk through the old impound lot, the long yellow grass wipping against their legs with each step they took, jumping over shredded tires and forgotten car parts hidden by the blades.
"Dah, you do this every morning." Said the girl, throwing a quick punch at the tall boy. Effrtlessly he caught her hand in his with a grin. "Little slow in the morning." he laughed, letting her go and hitching his bag higher up his back.
